Jaume I Robotic Labs' Open House

La Semana Europea de la Robótica (European Robotics Week, ERW) fue concebida en el European Robotics Forum 2011 por el deseo de la comunidad robótica europea de acercar la investigación y desarrollos en robótica al público en general y construir la sociedad Robótica Futura. Desde entonces, y cada año, la ERW ha ofrecido una semana de varias actividades relacionadas con la robótica por toda Europa para el público en general, destacando la creciente importancia de la robótica en una amplica variedad de aplicaciones y la creciente importancia de las habilidades en ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas (STEM).

 

Orientadas hacia el público en general, IRSLab organizará varios eventos (enlace a la web oficial) durante la semana del 18 al 22 de Noviembre de 2019:

  • Visitas a los laboratorios de robótica de la Universitat Jaume I, IRSLab y RobInLab y al espacio de la asociación Hackerspace. Abiertos para el público en general. Capacidad limitada.
  • Charlas acerca de los últimos proyectos del grupo IRSLab: TWINBOT y CIRTESU (FEDER, IDIFEDER/2018/013). Asientos limitados.
  • Participación en un estudio de Realidad Virtual para telerobótica (parte de TWINBOT). Individual.

 

Para inscribirse en los eventos, por favor, escribe un email a ncasan@uji.es e indica que día y hora te gustaría acudir. Estamos abiertos a visitantes de institutos. El horario no está cerrado.

  • Lunes, Miércoles y Viernes a partir de las 10:00 (Hackerspace sólo por las tardes).
  • Hackerspace: Jueves 21 hasta las 11 de la mañana y luego por la tarde.
  • Hackerspace: Viernes 22 todo el día.

The European Robotics Week (ERW) was conceived at the European Robotics Forum 2011 by the desire of the European Robotics community to bring robotics research and development closer to the public and to build the future Robotics Society. Since then and every year, the ERW has offered one week of various robotics related activities across Europe for the general public, highlighting the growing importance of robotics in a wide variety of application areas and the growing importance of skills in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

 

Aiming to arrive to the general public, IRSLab will organize several events (link to the official event web) during the week 18 - 22 November 2019:

  • Visits to the Jaume I University robotic laboratories, IRSLab and RobInLab and the space of the Hackerspace association. Open to the general public. Limited capacity.
  • Talk about the last projects of the IRSLab group: TWINBOT and CIRTESU (FEDER, IDIFEDER/2018/013). Seats are limited.
  • Participation in an study of VR for telerobotics (part of TWINBOT). Individual

 

To register for the events, please, write an email to ncasan@uji.es and indicate your preferred day and hour. We are open to high school visitors.

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 onward (Hackerspace only in the afternoons).
  • Hackerspace: Thursday 21 until 11:00 and then in the afternoon.
  • Hackerspace: Friday 22 all day.
